The National Program for Youth Economic Empowerment supports young people from rural areas who wish to develop entrepreneurial skills and start or expand a business in the production sector, providing financial support and access to resources through dedicated projects.
This project is implemented by the Government of the Republic of Moldova through the Ministry of Finance and the Public Institution “External Assistance Programs Management Office”.
The National Program for Youth Economic Empowerment is a grant component intended for individuals aged 18 to 30 who wish to develop their entrepreneurial skills, expand their own business, or launch an activity in the production sector carried out in rural areas. The program is financed through the FIDA I or RISP I projects and includes a grant component of 40% of the loan amount.
Equipment, machinery, tools, and new aggregates for the following production activities:
- agriculture (processing, packaging, storage, preservation);
- food industry;
- processing/packaging/storage/preservation of agricultural products;
- manufacturing of machinery, devices, and equipment;
- production of construction materials;
- extractive industry / wood / textile / metals / paper and cardboard industry.
