this is to inform you that starting with January 1, 2024, the Bank will withhold a tax of 6% from the interest paid from savings and deposit accounts to private individuals - residents of the Republic of Moldova.

For non-resident private individuals, the tax rate from the interest paid will not change, and will be 12%.

The changes of the interest rate are made in accordance with the Law no. 212 of 20.07.2023, and changes that were made to article 901, paragraphs (37) and (38) of the Fiscal Code of the Republic of Moldova.
