Thus, starting from February 1, 2021, ProCredit Bank will stop supporting old TLS 1.0 / 1.1 encryption protocols and we strongly recommend to you to update your browser and operation system version, which supports the TLS 1.2 protocol. The minimum version of the operation system is Windows 7 SP1, which supports the above mentioned encryption protocol.
What is TLS and how does it work?
TLS protects data that is transmitted online through the Internet. It is used to secure data that is introduced into the browser while visiting the site.
Why do we depreciate TLS 1.0 and 1.1?
First of all, TLS 1.0 / 1.1 encryption protocols are currently considered insecure and outdated. They will no longer be supported by software providers such as Google, Microsoft, Apple and Mozilla. And secondly, if you continue to use old protocols, you cannot use a remote banking system ProBanking and you may become a victim of cyber-attacks.
