The Agricultural Credit Facility (FCA) Program, coordinated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, aims to facilitate access to advantageous financing for investments in modern technologies and equipment. 

Thanks to the fixed interest rate, farmers can perform better financial planning to efficiently manage risks. 

The implementation of the FCA Program aims to increase agricultural production, create jobs, and develop the rural economy to improve the quality of life in these communities. Additionally, investments in sustainable agriculture will contribute to environmental protection and ensure a balanced and efficient consumption of natural resources, supporting long-term sustainable development.

Financing amount:

► Up to 5 million MDL per beneficiary

Benefits:

► Loans in MDL, with fixed interest rate: only 5.1% annually;

► Grant up to 30%;

► Flexible term: between 2 and 5 years;

► Issuance fee – only 0.5%.

Financing available for:

► New and unused equipment for conventional agriculture;

► New and unused equipment for conservation agriculture;

► New and unused processing and post-harvest agricultural equipment: sorting and packaging, bottling, milling, feed production, presses, and other agricultural equipment.

Eligible beneficiaries:

► Micro and small enterprises in the agriculture sector, according to GD No. 179 of 21.07.2016.

This project is implemented by the Government of the Republic of Moldova through the Ministry of Finance and the Public Institution Office for the Management of External Assistance Programs.
