DOEN Foundation, was founded in 1991 by the Dutch Postcode Lottery, representing a national charity lottery. DOEN Foundation believes that a green society that integrates all social groups is possible. Therefore DOEN actively seeks enterprising people and organizations able to contribute to this mission, often assisting them in implementing their initiatives through grants, investments in the form of funding, and increasingly by contacting individual stakeholders. DOEN Foundation funds these investments from annual contributions received under long-term contracts with its founder, the Dutch Postcode Lottery, and by two Dutch charity lotteries (BankGiro Lottery and Friends Lottery).
