ProCredit Bank offers domestic agricultural producers an innovative and convenient means for business development, based on direct and open communication. Thus, on Sunday September 18, 2011, at Stefan cel Mare square in Edinet ProCredit Bank organized for the first time agricultural fair „Golden basket”, especially for agricultural producers from the north of Moldova. Around 60 participants were offered an opportunity to exhibit and sell their products, grown skillfully. Holiday atmosphere, created by music and folk dances surrounded producers from Edinet, Ocnita, Floresti, Drochia, Soroca and Balti.
Mr. Constantin Cojocaru, Mayor of Edinet: „Agricultural fair „Golden basket” is an efficient way to introduce people engaged in agriculture to community. I am sure that guests of fair enjoyed it to the full”.
Natalia Osadcii, Deputy Chairperson of ProCredit Bank Management Board emphasized the importance of events of such scale for small agricultural businesses: „When we organized this fair, we kept in mind two strategic objectives. The first one was to encourage producers to promote their businesses, to interact and communicate with potential partners, and eventually improve their economic results. The second objective was to promote and support agricultural sector, which represents a major branch of national economy, since Moldova is an agricultural country.”
Participants and guests of fair were pleased with it. „We came here to exhibit what we have grown, our range of products. We want to get acquainted with all producers engaged in growth and development of agriculture”, declared one of participants.
Management of ProCredit Bank would like to thank Edinet Town Hall
and Edinet Chamber of Commerce and Industry for their support in organizing „Golden basket” fair. We hope this fair will become a tradition for all agricultural producers from our country.
